WEEKLY MANSION (OTEMAE) – Osaka, Japan
Clean, knowledgeable English-speaking staff. The rooms were a little small, but were nicely decorated in a botique syle and had wifi acess – for the price, very, very hard to beat in Japan. It was a short walk to the subway. The staff gave us maps, told us how to get to the subway, where to get JR railpasses, and where we could go to travel to other cities in the Kansai area. When going back, I would stay in the Shinsaibashi district location, which is where all the shops and restaurants are. The hotel doesn’t have a lounge, so it’s very difficult to meet other travelers, and their counter is a little cramped, but again, you really can’t beat it for travel in Japan.
